Quality and Outcomes Research Unit (QuORU)
The Quality and Outcomes Research Unit (QuORU) consists of three main arms:
- Clinical and Research
Led by Domenico Pagano, Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at UHB - Statistical
Led by Nick Freemantle, Professor of Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics at University College London (UCL) and David McNulty, Medical Statistician (UHB) - Informatics
Led by Mark Garrick, Director of Medical Director’s Services (UHB) and Jessica Richardson, Clinical Intelligence Analyst (UHB)
The purpose of the QuORU is to agree the specification for, and oversee, the development and implementation of appropriate quality outcome metrics in each of UHB's specialties.
