Instrumentation used
The following equipment/traceability is used in instrument calibration:
- IEC 61267 (2005)RQR/RQC/RQT X-ray beams for air kerma calibration:
- Radcal 9015 controller with 10X5-6 ionisation chamber, calibrated in IEC 61267 specified radiation beams traceable to NPL, UK
- Mammography (Mo/Mo) air kerma:
- Radcal 9015 controller with 10X5-6M ionisation chamber, calibrated in reference mammography beams traceable to NPL, UK
- NE Technology type 2550 assembly with type 2551/1 ionisation chamber, calibrated in ISO narrow radiation beams by NPL
- PracticalpeakacceleratingpotentialkVp:
- Hyperpure germanium detector system, used in combination with calibrated invasive divider system for kVp
